Employee awareness and education programmes
Hourly sessions cover popular misconceptions about substance abuse and provide information about the short- and long-term effects and hazards of substance abuse, more especially the effects of intoxication on workplace safety and performance. The focus is on assisting employees to gain insight into the phenomenon and to understand the company’s policy on substance abuse as well as how to go about seeking assistance. The standard cost per session is roughly R 800, although this may vary depending on distances to be travelled, the number of sessions to be conducted and their duration.
